Arcade ColumnsFort my first Image I chose to take photos of Nickels Arcade. I chose this location because of it's scenery. Through the architecture I hope to convey an antique feel with the columns and old windows. Many of the images focus on the windows, this is because of the amount of light shining into the arcade.
Building LightsFor my second image I chose to take photos of this building downtown. I chose this building because of the lights shining on the columns. With these images I hope to create a Saturday night feeling with the colorful lights, downtown, during the night.
Church WindowFor my third image I chose to take images of this church because of the interesting window patterns. Similar to the arcade the patterns of the window and the stone bricks help to create an antique and old feeling. I chose to take these images at this angle to emphasize the stone bricks and the window patterns.
Rackham Window patternsFor my fourth image I chose to take photos of Rackham. I chose this building because of the top of park event. It also reminds me of summer when the event takes place. The architecture of the windows and columns with multiple doors helps to create an old yet sturdy feeling. The images are also placed at angle where the steps lead to the building or the windows are and doors are visible.
Split angleFor my last Image I chose the bell tower. I chose the bell tower because it is one of the things I think of when U of M campus comes up. It is memorable and creates a powerful feeling due to the size and the fact you can see it from all around the downtown area and hear the bells. I chose these angles because they show off the multiple faces of the tower.
